Crews Catch Early Morning Work in Monroe Twp

At 0420 hours, Rescue 28 and Truck 28 were dispatched on the 1st alarm assignment to the 1200 block of West Lisburn Rd in Monroe Twp for a reported house fire. County advised Chief 125 that there was a working fire in an attached garage with possible entrapment. Rescue 28 with 7 and Truck 28 with 2 responded. While enroute, Engine 128 (with 4) was added to replace non responding units. Chief 125 arrived with heavy fire showing from Side A with no entrapment.  Rescue 28 arrived behind Engine 25 (Monroe) and Engine 127 (Citizens) and went to work. The crew pulled a second line and went interior, while the other crew members split to due a primary and secondary source while checking for extension. Crews held the fire to the garage of the home. Company 28 operated on scene for 1 1/2 hours with a total of 16 personnel on scene (1 POV and 2 on Engine 127). No Injuries were reported.
