Truck first in on Monroe House Fire

After 10 am this morning, Truck 28 was dispatched as part of the 1st alarm assignment to the 800-block of Fairfield Street in Monroe Township for a House Fire. Chief 27 arrived on scene with smoke showing from all 4 sides. Truck 28 (with 6) arrived first in and made entry finding a dryer fire with extension. Crews quickly opened up the area and held the fire in check with a PW. Engine 127 arrived and pulled 1 line to mop up the area. Rescue 28 was later added to assist with Air. Crews were out for an hour. No Injuries reported. The Red Cross is assisting the family.
